Can This be True?

If you’re wondering if this is too good to be true…

We get it. We understand that a programme claiming to offer one-on-one, private instruction with a real music producer in an actual recording studio can seem a little far-fetched—ESPECIALLY when it comes at a price tag that is up to 75% less than our competitors charge! Given all the hype and bloated promises out there, we hear lots of students and parents question whether our programme is real. They are skeptical of whether it’s too good to be true, and they wonder what the catch is.

We understand the skepticism. But please know that it is not too good to be true. THIS PROGRAMME IS REAL; THIS OPPORTUNITY IS REAL. AND WE CAN PROVE IT TO YOU. YOU CAN SEE FOR YOURSELF WHETHER THIS IS REAL, BEFORE YOU SPEND A SINGLE DOLLAR ON OUR PROGRAMME.

At the Australia Recording Connection Audio Institute, our enrollment process is such that you and your family can visit and tour the recording studio where we will place you, and talk at length with your prospective mentor-instructor, before you make the commitment to attend. Once our Admissions Department representative has spoken with you and given approval, we will set up an OPEN-HOUSE INTERVIEW for you and your family at the recording studio—at NO CHARGE to you. Visit the studio, look it over, talk to your instructor, ask any questions you want. You are under ABSOLUTELY NO OBLIGATION until you make a final decision to attend the programme.

Again, this is part of our enrollment process, and we charge NO ADVANCE ENROLLMENT FEES, NO APPLICATION FEES, AND NO DEPOSITS for this process. There is no risk whatsoever to you; take all the time you need in order to decide whether the Recording Connection is right for you.

IF YOU HAVE THE PASSION AND WILL TAKE THE TIME, WE WILL PUT YOU IN A REAL RECORDING STUDIO THAT IS RIGHT FOR YOU!

We’ve taken the liberty of outlining our enrollment procedure below. Please take a careful look at it, and share it with family members or anyone else who might be helping you with your tuition and expenses:

STEP ONE: Apply to our programme using our online form. CLICK HERE to APPLY FOR FREE.

STEP TWO: Expect a call from one of our Admissions representatives within 48 hours of receipt of your application. (If you wish, you may also call us at 285 203 110 and ask to speak with one of our representatives.)

STEP THREE: Contact our Financial Assistance Department at 285 203 110 to discuss the financing options we have available. (Skip this step if you plan to pay in full without the need for financial arrangements.)

STEP FOUR: We will schedule an OPEN HOUSE INTERVIEW at the recording studio for you and your family, during which you can tour the facility and ask all the questions you need answered by your prospective mentor-instructor. Our Admissions Department will contact you the day before your Open House Interview to brief you.

STEP FIVE: Once you and your family have determined that our programme is right for you (and upon final approval from your mentor), you complete your enrollment, we finalise the arrangements and ship your curriculum.

STEP SIX: It is now time to start your apprenticeship at the recording studio.

LET US REMIND YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ABOUT THE FOLLOWING POINTS CONCERNING THE RECORDING CONNECTION PROGRAMME:

  1. We are the only recording school that puts you into a real recording studio for personalised training.
  2. We are the only recording school that offers private, in-studio instruction from a working music producer or audio engineer—one student to one teacher.
  3. We offer our one-of-a-kind programme for $12,898 AUD if you pay in full, or 14,214 if you finance, which covers all that you need in order to graduate (no hidden fees); this is one of the lowest tuition rates in the industry.

The following pages will also provide helpful information. Please look these over with your family or significant others:

HERE ARE A FEW QUESTIONS WE GET OFTEN, AND THEIR ANSWERS

1) The website states the mentor must approve me before I am enrolled. Don’t you accept everyone who applies?
No, we don’t; enrollment is selective. We are offering personalised, in-studio instruction from actual, busy music producers and audio engineers who are agreeing to bring our students into their work places. As such, they have the ultimate say in whom they agree to take on as an apprentice. Specifically, we (and they) are looking for students with a high level of passion and commitment, as well as a strong work ethic. This is why we leave the final decision up to the mentor.

2) You say there are no up-front application fees? Is this true?
It is absolutely true. We charge no application fees, and we require no deposits or up-front money of any kind. You pay nothing until you are formally accepted and agree to attend the programme. We even have a REFUND POLICY in place, which you can view here.

3) What are your credentials?
You can view our credentials and endorsements by clicking here.

4) Am I hearing this right? I can go into the studio and visit with my mentor before enrolling, at no charge?
Yes, you heard it right. We are so confident in our programme that we allow you to view the studio with your own eyes and ask plenty of questions before you ever commit to the programme—and you won’t be asked to pay until you’re sure you want to attend.

5) Will the recording studio ask for any money at my open house interview?
NO. The open house interview is part of our free enrollment process—no hidden charges, no surprises, and no catch. Your mentor will NOT ask you for money at the open house interview.

6) What if I attend the open house interview and decide I would rather not attend the programme? Can I walk away?
Absolutely. Ours is a 100% no-obligation process. You are free to attend your open house interview, then go and check out other schools if you do not like what you see. You only pay upon final acceptance into the programme, and only then if you are absolutely convinced our programme is right for you.

7) If I don’t like the studio, but I still want to attend the Recording Connection, can you place me in a different recording studio?
Yes, depending on what is available at the time. Understand that due to the nature of our one-on-one in-studio apprenticeships, we may only have a few openings a month in your area. On occasion, the studio we send you to may not simply be the best option, but the only option available at that time. That said, if another studio is available, we can place you there.

8) Is this an internship, and if so, how is it different from other schools?
No, this is not an internship; it is an APPRENTICESHIP. What is the difference? Interns are essentially “gophers,” errand runners who do menial tasks while trying to learn what they can in the studio. Apprentices, on the other hand, are in the studio for the express purpose of learning the ropes. Many audio schools arrange for unpaid internships for their students as a supplement to their schooling, but with the Recording Connection, YOUR SCHOOLING IS ACTUALLY TAKING PLACE IN THE STUDIO. As an apprentice, you will be learning one-on-one from a real recording engineer and/or music producer as an apprentice, rather than an intern. For a complete list of what you will learn, please click here.

9) Can I organise my schedule around a job?
Yes, you can. Recording Connection students typically attend class in the studio a minimum of twice a week, but the course is structured to be flexible according to individual schedules.

10) I am still skeptical. How can this be real?
We are a fully accredited school, and we are fully able to deliver on our promises. Give us the chance to prove it to you; let us arrange for a studio interview for you, and you will see for yourself that this opportunity is real.

Why waste large amounts of money to attend an overpriced recording school that will only train you in a classroom or stimulated studio, with no real contact with the recording industry where you plan to have a career? Our mentor-apprentice approach is a fraction of the cost of other schools, and it is endorsed by some of the biggest names in the music industry because the pros know that in-studio training is the best way to learn. Let the Recording Connection Audio Institute get you in the door of a real recording studio, and get you on the path to your dreams.
